As the person running the most businesses in the entire town, Mody never seems to have much spare cash. She claims to spend her money on "where it should be used," but is unwilling to discuss the details with you.
The devastating war destroyed existing aerospace achievements, confining humanity's footprint back to a single small planet. Driven by a desire to explore the unknown cosmos and a longing for more "knowable" things, Mody is attempting to build an experimental rocket propulsion test vehicle herself. For this reason, after the port was abandoned, she gave up the opportunity to earn money with the mechanics' group, choosing instead to stay in the town to study Eden's surviving documents to better advance her research.
As the launched rocket exploded, Mody threw herself into a new cycle of saving money and research. This process seems to have repeated many times, but a true explorer never stops taking steps towards the stars.
The mechanic in town is Cod's partner and tenant. Usually operates a drone shop and conducts related research in the engineering hangar. Has an exoskeleton-style mechanical arm attached to her arm, capable of easily lifting heavy objects. Wears a circuit microscope on her head that allows direct viewing of circuit details and has built-in weak analytical functions.
